Wilson sossion has stepped down as the general secretary of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT).
He announced his resignation on Friday sighting frustration from the government. “I have outgrown KNUT. My responsibility now shifts to Parliament,” he said in a press conference held at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club.
Sossion says TSC was out to cripple KNUT, and consequently hoard control of teachers’ welfare. His quitting comes a day before the union’s national elections.
