Ruto has welcomed Nelson Havi to UDA party, to Vie for Westlands parliamentary seat.
In a video posted online, the DP is heard telling Mathira MP Rigathi Gachugua to welcome Havi to the party as he prepares to run in the Westlands parliamentary elections next year.
“Choose why you can’t shake Havi’s hand as we welcome him to a busy nation,” Ruto was heard telling a Member of Parliament.
Havi’s move came as a shock to him, as a few months ago he announced his intention to run in the Westland parliamentary elections under Mudavadi, the ANC leader.
The LSK president even accompanied half of the ANC leaders to Kangemi to mobilize dissidents to register as voters.
